3 Points of View…

The three points of view I will be exploring in my exploratory essay (on ’Why Polar bears should/shouldn’t be on the Endangered Species list) will be:

·          People who are for/support the Polar bears enlisting on the Endangered Species List (and are against any harm to them and/or their environment).

·          People who are against Polar bears being enlisted on the Endangered Species List (because they have personal prejudices against the species, or see them as just an animal with no rights to life).

·          People who are in between/ can’t decide (because they don’t know the entire situation threatening the species/or the endangerment they are incurring).

  1. Jill says:

Are you finding people with personal prejudice against polar bears, or believe they have no right to life? :)

I wonder if you might find more for that second perspective if you look for other reasons people are against the Endangered Species Act in general, those who believe it doesn’t work or that it isn’t government’s place.

Have you looked in the Opposing Viewpoints database yet? Try a search there on the Endangered Species Act.

    Good luck!
